...aren't robots created by humans to perform the functions they were designed for? Or do they have some other meaning in your world?
No, not really. It doesn't help that I seem to have become a Pokemon known for its glitches. He dismisses my truths as glitches, and so I must come up with convenient lies to keep him in line.
No, that's what they are. But most of these movies have the robots taking over as, like, part of their function, or, like, evolving sentience and deciding they don't want to serve people any more.
At least you, like, know, so you can kind of work around the "glitches".
Part of their function? To take over? That seems illogical. And robots cannot just...decide to stop serving people. Your entertainment takes very strange forms.
Mm, well. I do not think I am currently suffering from any glitches, but then again, how would I know?
Well, like, I know in I, Robot, the first function of every robot was to protect humans from harm. And one of the robots went crazy and decided that the best way to protect humans was to prevent them from ever doing anything stupid, and that meant controlling everything they did.
It, um, sometimes does, yeah, haha.
That's a good point. But whether you are or not, you know that your, uh, trainer will think you are, so.

Mm. The problem is trying to stop him from doing things he knows he should not in normal circumstances.

I guess there's not much you can do if he's, uh, your trainer, is there?

I shall just have to continue deceiving him until this virus is over.
no subject
Good luck with that, then. ...Um. Why do you have to deceive him, exactly?
no subject
Because he keeps trying to do things that are potentially dangerous.
no subject
Oh! Yeah, that's...not so good.
no subject
Not particularly, no.
no subject
But you'll be able to, like, lie to him and keep him in line, or whatever?
no subject
Providing the virus ends sooner rather than later, yes.
no subject
That's good.
