As part of an assigned project, I selected this community due to its high traffic in order to conduct a survey. The topic of the survey in question was Celestial Being, an organization that is very much at the forefront of public debate on our world. Finding that this community had never heard of such a thing, I initially believed the responses to be part of some practical joke, a game. However, due to irrefutable first-hand evidence, I now find myself believing in the true nature of community. Why do I continue to be a part of this place? Because I must investigate it, for my own safety. ROLE:Many on here probably recognise me as the intended architect of a community-wide security system. It was supposed to put a stop to the so-called "viruses" that plague the community, as well as fixing many other faults. However, SHODAN soon put a stop to that. I undertook this project not as charity, but to defend myself and others from my world from the effects of the viruses. While most are not malicious in nature, their strange nature could, at the wrong time, have catastrophic results. As of now, I am considering the creation of a simple barrier to seal off the viruses from our world. While it may not be so efficient, it may have a smaller chance of attracting the wrath of SHODAN.
