He shouts at you about Michael and Nena because, to maybe make a teeny-weeny understatement about the situation, he doesn't trust them and probably never will no matter how much evidence there is that they're trustworthy, and he's worried that you're going to get hurt because you apparently do! Now look, I know that the idiot's not perfect and that smile of his might not always be entirely genuine, but that doesn't mean he thinks you're stupid and weak, only that he has a protection complex or something of some sort about everyone, and I think I ought to know about stuff like that, don't you?
