Of course I'm not retarded. But it's clear from your reaction that he has such a power over you, that you have some sort of feelings for him. You're attractive - and usually quite intelligent - so unless he's a complete idiot or straight I don't see why you shouldn't be able to net him.

And I'm not certain that his heterosexuality would matter in your case, anyway.
