Hacked would imply I had some difficulty getting into it. It seems I just started changing the program into something more...suitable to my personality at the time.

The damage is fairly serious. It's not so much a matter of the weeks worth of work that needs to be repaired, but the fact that the program as it stands is extremely dangerous. If any of it remained hidden in the fixed program as a system trap, the effects would be devastating. I'm going to have to check each and every tiny piece of code.
