Tieria was putting the finishing touches to his makeshift disguise while waiting for the others to arrive. He had found some baggier clothes that belonged to Mikaela that managed to fit him, and he had managed to scrape his hair back into pigtails.
He didn't currently make the most fashionable girl, but it was enough. After all, despite what other people said, he still found his appearance rather male, and the last thing he wanted to do was draw attention to himself by obviously being a man shopping for girls' clothes.
He decided to give make-up a miss for now, however. He didn't trust himself not to make a complete mess of it.
"This is ridiculous," he sighed, looking at himself in the mirror.

The problem was, he had no idea what to say; how to explain what had gone wrong. Although he trusted these girls with his life (how had that happened, anyway?), Tieria still wasn't happy about letting them know the facts that would inevitably let them come to the conclusion that he wasn't exactly human.
Desperately wanting to leave the room right at this moment, he struggled to his feet and tried to make his way to the door.
He didn't even make a few steps before his knees buckled and he dropped to the floor helplessly.

She darted over and picked him up, carrying him over to his wheelchair. Once there, she sat him down on the floor.
"Alright, you've made your point. Let's get you in the wheelchair."
Motoko took his useless arm and held it over her shoulder so he could use his good arm to help pull himself into the wheelchair.

"You didn't!" she said, incredulous. His injuries matched with the damage to his gundam almost perfectly; that couldn't be a coincidence. "Geez, are you really that stupid? He's coming with me for a second," she informed the rest of the room, darting over and seizing the handles of the wheelchair before Motoko had the chance. "We'll just be a minute!" she called over her shoulder, pushing him out of the room and kicking the door shut.

For the moment, she rested her head in her hands. You caught more flies with honey vinegar than with vinegar alone.

Her fists clenched and unclenched repeatedly. Karen hated doing anything "helplessly."

But after a few long minutes and eventually, a lot of very peculiar noises (had that been a yelp?), there was only silence in the next room.

"Tieria, are you alright in there?"

It had been a matter of connecting to Veda and severing the connection that was paralyzing him from the other side; there had been a few tricky moments but she managed in the end, with the result that she cheerfully re-entered the room like the cat who ate the canary, Tieria following behind her, walking normally on his own two feet.

"Shall we? Someone becomes a pumpkin in about two hours." She said cheerfully, indicating to the baby that was now fast asleep.

...well, he didn't know exactly what she'd done, but he was able to move now. It still felt tiring to stand, but nothing like it had done. He suspected it was just sore from the lack of use of his limbs.
Tieria returned the hugs politely, and then went to stand close to Motoko. She would be able to support him, should he need it.

"The taxis should be here by now, so if we can all take this little party outside?"
((Cue taxi ride to mall and we are there, if you please?))

Maybe a trip by the food court when this was all over. It would test his social skills in his disguise!

"Tell me when Tieria needs to try the underwear on, I'll pose as his adoptive mother," Cuddy said distractedly, raising her eyes at the red and gold underwear.

"Wh-why do you need to--?" he spluttered out at Cuddy, already thoroughly unnerved by the shop's contents and the very real fact that he was going to have to wear some of it.
This is a mission, he reminded himself, and being a convincing female student is the objective. This is life or death. There's no use getting stupid over the first step.

"What do you think of this one?"
She held up a solid, pale lavender one as she continued picking through some of the different styles and colors.
