Tieria was putting the finishing touches to his makeshift disguise while waiting for the others to arrive. He had found some baggier clothes that belonged to Mikaela that managed to fit him, and he had managed to scrape his hair back into pigtails.

He didn't currently make the most fashionable girl, but it was enough. After all, despite what other people said, he still found his appearance rather male, and the last thing he wanted to do was draw attention to himself by obviously being a man shopping for girls' clothes.

He decided to give make-up a miss for now, however. He didn't trust himself not to make a complete mess of it.

"This is ridiculous," he sighed, looking at himself in the mirror.

Haruhi marched over to Tieria and grabbed his hand, a determined, and dangerous look to anyone who knew her well on her face. "If you wanna be a girl and get good fitting clothes, you're gonna need some "assets". She dragged him along behind her, ignoring any protest from him and expecting everyone else to follow to the starting place: Victoria's Secret.

Cuddy didn't feel her age until right then. There was something about young girls (and Tieria) looking for bras. She sighed, looking at the other bras that she could wear. She looked at several types of lingerie- no pantyline guaranteed.

"Tell me when Tieria needs to try the underwear on, I'll pose as his adoptive mother," Cuddy said distractedly, raising her eyes at the red and gold underwear.

"What about this?" Karen indicated a rather lacy bra. It was light blue, much to the surprise of no one who knew Karen to any extent whatsoever.

Tieria may have been a not-quite-human ex-Veda terminal trained in heavy-arms mobile suit warfare, with a good eye for tactics and programming, but he was still (theoretically) a teenage boy. And a teenage boy who didn't particularly like showing his skin at that. He felt embarassed for the models in the display pictures.

"Wh-why do you need to--?" he spluttered out at Cuddy, already thoroughly unnerved by the shop's contents and the very real fact that he was going to have to wear some of it.

This is a mission, he reminded himself, and being a convincing female student is the objective. This is life or death. There's no use getting stupid over the first step.

Meanwhile, Motoko had gone searching through bras as well, slightly amused by the whole situation at hand.

"What do you think of this one?"

She held up a solid, pale lavender one as she continued picking through some of the different styles and colors.

"No way, he needs something flashier!" Nena declared, holding up a dark purple one that was mostly lace and bows. "Don't do something if you're not going to do it all the way!"

Minako proudly held up her contribution of a somewhat risque golden bra and pantie set. "Something sexy for those days when you have to dress up nice! Or," she reached for a slightly more reserved red one, "for when you get a date!"

Suddenly the scheming cogs in Haruhi's head came to a screeching halt.

"Do you even know what size you are?"

As if some alarm went off in her head, Cuddy picked up a padded B cup bra that was approximately Tieria's size.

"Before we choose color, we have choose bra type." Cuddy commented before she hailed a shop clerk.

"Excuse me, could I get a dressing room? My daughter is trying on bras for the first time and she's a little shy. If I could measure her myself?"

...oh, right. That was important information, after all. Karen wandered back to where she'd picked out the bra, and looked to see what other sizes were available.

"I'm male," Tieria said in a hushed voice, doing his best to look nowhere in particular. "I don't have a size!"

"You'll need some sort of a size if you want to pass yourself off as a woman," she told him matter-of-factly. "If you don't want the smallest size they have in the store, you're going to need something heavily padded or even as far as fake breasts."

"Let's get him knockers!" Nena proclaimed. "It'll be more fun to dress him up that way!"

"K-knockers?" That triggered a heavy blush across Minako's cheeks and kept her from giving a coherent opinion on the matter. Sure, she thought getting him fake boobs might help in getting him to fit in, but right now, all she could do was nod in agreement. Better not to speak.

Haruhi grinned and prodded Tieria's chest. "Yeah and you're gonna still be "male" unless you get some good fake ones. Go pick a size and then we can get clothing that fits your boobs!"

Cuddy sighed, thankfully taking the measuring tape.

"Tieria, follow me."

"Be sure you pick an appropriate size. You don't want them to be overly large. They'd be uncomfortable that way, and it's not necessary for looking attractive."

Coincidentally, out of all the girls here, Karen had the smallest breasts. But of course this wouldn't have affected her opinion in any way.

He flinched at Haruhi's poking, and followed Cuddy. Having accidentally glanced at a display that included a mannequin in a corset and stockings, Tieria decided that yes, anything to get away was best.

Motoko smiled slightly for a moment and found an empty spot on the wall to lean against where she could keep an eye on the group and make sure none of them got up to too much mischief.

"Spoilsport," Nena said, rolling her eyes at Karen. "We have to have fun with this!"

Minako walked around the store and took stock of everything they had to offer. It wasn't often that she came into stores like this. Maybe she could find some things for herself...if she didn't die of embarrassment first. One particularly racy set off a heavy blush. She couldn't imagine Tieria in any of these.

Actually, she could. And she didn't want to think about that at all. Minako put it back gingerly and continued to roam the store.

Haruhi glared at Tieria and put her hands on her hips. "You need to man up and stop whining all the time if you want this to work! It was your idea so you better find your balls and do it!"

She placed her hand on Tieria's shoulder and whispered very quietly, "It'll be a fine. I won't see anything you don't want me to, alright?"

She held out the very modest bra with liquid padding with an assuring smile. "Can you guys take care of the baby for me?"

"Not at Tieria-san's expense," Karen shot back at Nena.

"Of course," she replied to Dr. Cuddy shortly afterward. She crouched down next to the carrier. "Hi, there," she said, paying no attention to the fact that the strand of hair that hung down in front of her ear was now well within the baby's reach.

Tieria walked away from all of them, and disappeared in the direction of the fitting rooms, hoping Cuddy would just follow. Haruhi was right, it had been his idea, but he was beginning to regret it.
