It's good to be going back. I really do prefer space. It's so much cleaner, and Earth's gravity can be so tiring.
Speaking of Earth...well, I suppose that's only a tenuous connection, as this will have an effect space too, but: there has been a huge development on my world, for anyone who is following our politics. The Union, the HRL and the AEU have decided to join their military forces into a single army. The UN Forces will be the largest military the world has ever seen, and together, they will fight to take down Celestial Being.
I must say, this move is a surprising one. I wonder what prompted it.
In other news, I am pleasantly surprised with the number of volunteers I have found to help me with my plans to fix the community's security systems once and for all. However, I still need to talk to one "Foaly" and one "Yuki Nagato". They have been recommended to me, and I shall speak with them.
[locked/unhackable]
There's something wrong. Very, very wrong. With our system, with the world, everything. I must confess, I am extremely worried.
...no, I am more than worried.
I'm scared.

I cannot believe what Michael Trinity has done. Next time I see him, I'll kill him.

Access Denied!? Access Denied?! How can there be something on the system that I, Tieria Erde, cannot access?! This is impossible! It must be some kind of error. Not only has someone tampered with the data in Level 7, but they've locked me out? I. I won't stand for this. I, I won't. I'll fix it. Of course I can. I have to.

My free time is somewhat empty now, I find. I suppose I shall find more tasks to complete. After all, I must finish checking my systems for any signs of forced entry while I was unconscious. I've already found and logged Yuan's attempts, but other than that...there doesn't seem to be anything. I am glad I had the foresight to isolate the connection.
I should start construction of a new program, even if it is just one to act as a simple barrier between us and the other worlds, but I am not sure if there is even any point. It has an extremely high probability of being destroyed, just like the first. This would not ordinarily faze me, but there is little point in wasting my time on a futile project with a 0.0053% chance of success for no reason. Nothing will be accomplished by the creation and destruction of another program. It would also be unwise to anger SHODAN further.
Various people said that they were worried about me, even though they did not know me. I am not even from their world. And yet, nobody showed concern for the destroyed program. I can't honestly say that I'm surprised, after all, human nature is completely riddled with hypocrisy.
...and as for that "secret". We're not twins.

((Aftermath of this and this.))
SHODAN had forcefully ejected Tieria from the system, although not before wreacking havoc on his neural relays. The shock rendered him unconscious, and he now lay drifting in the zero-g of Veda's interface room. Warning alarms continued to sound with polite concern, while emergency back-up systems struggled their way online.
The restricted access area doors, usually closed to anyone without the proper clearance (anyone who wasn't Tieria, that is), were now open, and the dark corridors were bathed in a dim orange light.

Returning the program to its correct state turned out to be easier than I thought. I suppose I should be thankful that the craftsmanship of "the other me" turned out to be so shoddy and easy to unravel. The program has been checked and rechecked, both by myself and the system I'm using.
...I probably shouldn't have wasted its processing on that, but I had to be sure. And besides, the program will protect it in the long run.
Apart from the setback caused by the virus, however, work was almost completed. In actual fact, the weeks worth of projected work will be completed in a week or so. If I aim to work even faster, then perhaps it will only be a few days. This is by far the largest program I have ever created: it has taken over two months of my time to construct. Time I am sure I could have spent doing other things. But nevertheless, it was important. This way, things will be much safer.
No more of those stupid viruses. Maybe now Setsuna will stop avoiding me. It's extremely irritating that I must search him out before I can tell him what to do.

...what have I done? The damage...it's. It's not irreparable, but...
Could it have known? It seems stupid to think so, but it's not impossible, I suppose.
...weeks worth of work. What am I going to do? I don't have time for this!

The past few days have certainly been...interesting. While I am glad to be back to normal, there have been many things to think about.
The Porygon-Z form gave me superior data-handling capabilities. As such, I was able to work much faster on the community's security overhaul. Some of the time lost due to the community's inherent temporal anomalies has been recovered.
As an unrelated side-note, it also gave me superior individual defences. I am certainly aware that I am lacking in the area of physical combat. As a Porygon-Z, I was a capable fighter. However, this benefit would only be useful if I could assume the form at will - as it was a random occurance, at an inconvenient time, the positive qualities were somewhat diminished.
Nevertheless, when coupled with another piece of information I have come across, a small problem is presented. It would appear that the viruses are not all of malicious character, but are rather mostly chaotic. In fact, one such virus has apparently been responsible for saving a community member's life. Again, if such a thing could be predicted and controlled, the effects would be astounding.
I am still sure that this is the correct thing to do, however. After all, I was extremely fortunate that the change wrought on me by the virus was both short-lived and at a time when my abilities were not needed. And as for Setsuna...well. The mental problems were self-evident. If another virus like this should happen at a more desperate time, it could be catastrophic. I must continue.

Exercising my powers of logic and argument while concentrating on other, more constructive tasks leads to some...strange results, I find. The statements I make are undeniably correct, and the questions I ask are apt to the situation, but on further analysis, there is something disconcerting about the things I appear to have said. They carry a certain weight, and are thick with implications for myself and my current situation.
Making the temporal adjustments to the program is proving difficult. As there is no precedent on my world for the act of time travel, I am having to search further afield for information, looking through the databases of other worlds, other times. However, the little I do find has no real application in the program. I suspect I will have to fill the gaps with theoretical presumptions, and make adjustments as I continue. It is far from efficient, but would seem to be the only avenue of progress open at this point in time.

Three days later, and the galley still reeks of fish. That's the last time I ever make galie maahi. I should run a diagnostic on the contaminant control subassembly.
...in fact, I should be running full diagnostics again after that little attempt at intrusion. I've run them seven times now, and gone through the files individually myself, but it doesn't hurt to be certain. The way he just pushed past the barriers was more than a little unnerving. I need to be sure he didn't leave anything behind.
Something else for my program to account for, then. Its completion cannot come fast enough.

I suppose I should start numbering my entries, for archival ease. As this is the first one of any actual worth and intent, it shall be numbered as such.
The patch is coming along nicely. Not only will it block those ridiculous viruses, but it should also serve to tighten up this place's security systems. A lock that actually works will be appreciated, I'm sure.I know that I'll benefit from it.
Whoever constructed the original system was woefully incompetent, not to mention the fact that it seems to have evolved, in some way. It's a sprawling, cancerous mass of a program. How it became more than a simple place for exchange of ideas is anyone's guess, at this point.
As of yet, I have been unable to establish just how it manages to cross the "world barriers", if such things exist. Granted, I have ascertained that the community itself is real, but whether these are truly other worlds it is connected to is another matter entirely. It still seems too illogical. Empirical evidence would be best, but I cannot even begin to calculate the dangers inherent in travelling to another world, not to mention how unwise it would be to leave my station. It would also be extremely foolish to invite someone here.
It still seems that only Setsuna and I have accessed this place from our world. This is for the best, of course. While it would be a little inconvenient to see another one of ours running around (I don't trust them not to run their mouths off), anyone not with us could have the potential to be catastrophic.
